We released a new service build of PowerShell Studio 2019 (v5.6.157). This service build is included as part of the regular update cycle for our subscribers.
New Features
This service release introduces two new features: panel output notification and word wrap.
These features are also included in PowerShell HelpWriter (v2.3.43) and PrimalSQL (v4.5.67).
Panel Output Notification
To notify the user when a panel has new output, PowerShell Studio will now highlight the panel’s tab when it is docked or auto-hidden. This feature helps ensure that you don’t miss any relevant output.
The panel’s tab will remain highlighted until the user clicks on the panel to view the output.
Word Wrap
PowerShell Studio’s script editor now supports word wrap:
You can enable this feature in Options->Editor->Enable word wrap:
Feedback
Please continue providing your feedback. Many of the new features included in the service builds are suggestions from users like you. Submit your suggestions or feature requests on the Wish List and Feature Requests forum or the new Feature Requests page.
You can view the complete service build log here.
Is there a way to revert back to the previous Service Release? There is a bug with the current SR when using the debugger. I saw a few posts and did see that you guys are working on the issue. If I can can’t revert, when is the next scheduled release? The bug makes debugging useless.
