Ok. After rebooting with the hidden task disabled I don't get the PrimalXML setup wizard at logon anymore. Problem solved. I'm guessing it's OK to delete the task? What does that task do?
Thanks for your help. I'd have never guessed to look for a hidden task.

I reinstalled PrimalXML using the stand alone installer. After installing I opened PrimalXML to make sure everything was ok and it was. Then I rebooted and still got the PrimalXML setup wizard.I used the Autorun Manager inside of Revo Uninstaller Pro to see if something related to PrimalXML or Sapie...

I uninstalled Primal XML from the add/remove control panel. Before I did I noticed that all of the other parts of Primal Studio (PrimalScript, PrimalSQL, etc.) had their regular icons in the add/remove panel but Primal XML had the generic icon next to it. Just a bit of information in case it helps w...

PrimalXML setup at every startup
The original install was with the Studio installer. I have full admin capabilities on my PC.
I will uninstall through control panel, reboot and reinstall and inform of the results.
Thanks,
Bob

Hi,I'm not sure exactly what occurred to cause this, but every time I start my computer the PrimalXML 2009 Setup wizard will begin. I can either cancel out of it or complete the installation but the setup restarts the next time I start my computer. I have used the modify, Repair, and even the Remove...

Renaming Connections
Ok - Everything is well. It was my bad. I was not showing the Database browser but when I did I was able to rename the connection. I don't use PrimalSQL often and it had been a while since adding my last connection so I had forgotten about the browser window. Thanks for pointing me to what I was mis...

Renaming Connections
I verified that files (.cnn & .dat types) with the desired name did not exist and renamed them to the desired name. The correct names now show up in PrimalSQL. Then I tried to create another new connection and it named it "new connection 9". I then deleted the connection using the Conn...

At one time I was able to give my connections the name I wanted but recently I added a new connection and seem to be stuck with "New Connection 7". The next one I make is "New Connection 8", etc. I have 6 other connections with names I was able to give them. What have I forgotten...
