Problem solved, but raises another question. I found that the DYMO quick print was an autostarted process, so removed it from the AutoStart and stopped the process and now Ctrl+Shit+L deletes lines within Primal Script. Yes, it does come up from any screen when you use the the shortcut.

Removing the Function allowed the script to work as expected.
