Re: Ghost-Process 'msiexec' after installing PowerShell Studio

It is not a custom action. It's a filetype association and a registry key, which does not pose a problem anywhere else. 1. Uninstall PowerShell Studio. 2. Make sure you have the current build: 5.8.195 3. Run the installer with /L*V "setup.log" as in SPS21Setup_5.8.195_100721_x64.exe /L*V "setup.log"...

Re: Show-Command does not work in Sapien Powershell Studio 2021

You want a Microsoft cmdlet designed to require a console to work without having a console. You see how that does not go together?

Re: Show-Command does not work in Sapien Powershell Studio 2021

The Show-Command is a learning tool cmdlet specifically designed for typing in a console. It was not designed for use in a GUI environment.
Since GUI processes normally do not have a console, this is not compatible.

These are not messages from the PowerShell Studio installer, but from the SAPIEN Update tool. Re: Certificate browse option - dialog issue

If you do not specify a certificate it will use the first one it finds. Can you indicate where in your certificate store your certificate is installed?
The windows dialog browses the personal store of the logged on user.

Re: Broken installer?

Just to make sure no file inside the installer poses a problem, I have installed the latest build on a variety of machines and no virus or malware alert was issued.

Re: Broken installer?

I have checked our installer (again) through virustotal.com 2021-10-09_13-36-09.png While false positives are not too uncommon, you never know. Our downloads are always checked but we are always happy to double check. We do however have no control what happens to a file once you download it. We have...
