Re: Design of pstudio winforms apps re. pester
Thanks, my first step will be to read through that blog and work through some pester tutorials. The goal is to be able execute an external test script that would test functions in the separate winform application .ps1 And I would not want to have any test related artifacts residing in the applicatio...

Re: Design of pstudio winforms apps re. pester

Then just . source the function file so the winform event handlers can reference the appropriate logic in the functions. O...

Design of pstudio winforms apps re. pester
Powershell Studio 5.4.136 Hi Folks, Has anyone had any success designing Pshell studio winform apps and using pester for testing? Pshell studio has been great for us for implementing some LOB CRUD apps that would otherwise have taken much more work to implement in C#. We would like to integrate use ...

@JV
You ought to scrape this site for all your "how-to" answers, examples, and demos and compile into a book.
I bet you would sell a pile of books! I would buy it! (and in any event thanks for all your continuing help...)

Re: activation messed up
To perform rollback, I just need to install the version downloaded from my "registered software" page?
Is that correct? Of do I first need to do an uninstall of the current pstudio version that does not work?

activation messed up
Hi, I was given a new domain account by our IT, and when I logged into my VM with new account and opened powershell studio 2016, it prompted me to install update to 2017 with dialogue window indicating that the 2017 version was activated. So I accepted the update, and when I restarted powershell stu...

Re: re. activation/reactivation
Will it support "white list" logic? In other words, I can enter the id of the machines I want to use to host the app and I don't need to know the machine ids I want to retire/deactivate? This way I can "lose" access to a machine (hard drive crash, smashing laptop on the floor, re...
