Re: intellisense issue

What are you opening (ps1, psf, projects)? If it is a project, how many files are included in that project?
Also, please try build 5.7.178 and let me know now if you are still having issues.

Re: Constant flickering of wait cursor

In the latest build of PowerShell Studio (5.7.177), are you still experiencing the flickering? Also, the projects that you mentioned that exhibit this behavior, about how long (number of lines) on average are these files?

Re: Inteliisense for Nested modules

What are the permissions of the psm1 file you tried to import? It is strange that the import failed. Also, what is your PowerShell execution Policy set to? You use the NestedModules element of the psd1 file to reference the path of the nested module to be loaded. PowerShell will look in the paths sp...

Re: Inteliisense for Nested modules

This is most likely caused by the cache for PowerShell Studio not having that module information. Is the module 'CronTab' listed in the Object Browser panel: SPS_ObjectBrowser.png If its not, then your cache needs to be rebuilt or you can import the module via the cache editor. SPS_RebuildCache.png ...

Re: Strange text behaviour

We are currently investigating this behavior. In the meantime, it is generally not good practice to have function names in scripts that match the names of functions in modules as there is no namespaces in PowerShell that separates the two.

Re: 5.7.176 is broken

For the first issue, please close the SAPIEN Script Packager (if it is open) and delete the file named "Get-ADUserInfo.Package.ps1". Verify that ALL files that are part of the project are not encoded as UTF-16BE and then try to build your project again. For the second issue, without more information...

Re: Installing PowerShell 7.0.1 break PS7/NetCore3.1 compiled scripts

From looking at the PowerShell GitHub page, the latest build of PowerShell (7.0.1) also updated the .Net Core version required; this is what is causing the issue you are experiencing. We are looking further into this to see what we can do and I will update you when I have more information to share.

This is indeed odd. Please try resetting the consoles listed in the Console panel in Options:

Re: "Set-PSDebug -strict" is stopping use of Run & Debug

Using 'Set-PSDebug -Strict' requires that variables must be assigned a value BEFORE being referenced in a script. If a variable is referenced before a value is assigned, PowerShell returns an exception error. Therefore if you are not passing/assigning any value to $Commandline, you will receive an e...
