Umm, no, I don't think so. We have IE7 on all our machines and the debugger works fine. The versions of the dlls look like what they are supposed to be. The only thing I *could* think of checking, was if the Machine Debug manager and other components actually use the dlls in that folder or if those ...

Thank you for sending the file. The problem is caused by a type recursion in the Excel typelib, from what I see. Not their fault, ours.
I have stopped the scheduled service build from deployment and will make sure the fix gets included in it.

I think I know what the problem is.
Until the next service release comes out, go to
Tool - Options - Text Editor - General
and check "Always open XML files as text".
