Open Explorer
Maybe it's just me but I have a different expectation using the Explore feature. I assume I'm going to get a Windows Explorer window opened to the folder. But instead I get the parent folder with the repository folder selected. Yes, I know it doesn't kill me to press Enter. But it isn't the experien...

Re: Backup
I see that now. Zip function seems to work with what I've tested so far.

Build 1.0.47
Ran into issues with latest build. Clicked the 64bit link to download. Install failed. Was prompted to close Windows Explorer and stop service. Service was stopped and I continued, then I got an error about failing to register a dll. At that point Windows basically crashed except for 2 PowerShell se...

No local copy found
I'm running into this when using a repository for Word docs. If I work on a document long enough I end up with a copy of the temp file, like ~$L My Doc.docx. VR shows a status of no local copy found when I close the doc. This is to be expected. There was a temp file but not there's not. Is this a si...

Office File Set
I know I can do it, but it would be helpful if there was an included file set for Office file types. From what I can tell there's no reason not to use VersionRecall to manage Word docs in the same way I manage my scripts.

Re: Backup
Let me re-state that I am running Windows 8 Professional x64 in case that makes a difference.

Re: Open last repository
Personally, I don't use icons on the desktop so Alex's suggestion won't fly with me. But perhaps I don't really need the GUI. I'd be happy if there were a set of command line tools I could use to manage VersionRecall (hint, hint).

Re: Service Name
Jason, most service names since the days of NT are things like bits, lanmanserver or lanmanworkstation. Run Get-Service and you'll see the service names I'm talking about. In most admin situations it is this name which we use to control the service from the command line. However, some vendors have s...

Backup
I tried out the CD burning and ZIP options but got different results. The CD only burned the @@ versions. The Zip file copied all the files in my script directory but none of the @@ files. Which is the expected behavior?
