Or you can launch primalscript.exe as
PrimalScript /NOSPLASH
from a command line. Most likely there is some
dialog blocking it hidden underneath. Please let us know what it is.

How many COM objects do you add?
Which and HOW do you delete them?
When exactly does the crash occur, when you press the remove button or on closing the dialog?

Usually when a dll cannot be registered some dependency or prerequisite is not installed.
