PSP 4.1 Documentation pictures blury
It wasn't a matter of cutting corners for less than half a meg, Frank. It was a matter of the photo compression algorithms built into Acrobat, and where we came from. Read on. I want to point out that the 4.0 version of the manual used the same settings that the 4.1 file started off with - but this ...

I'm obviously blind
Note that this is only in the Professional and Enterprise editions of 4.1.

4.1 behaviors and memory leak
Live syntax Checking occurs as you type - hence the "live" name - so it's more or less continuous. I'm sure Alex can be much more specific, but I suspect it's whenever you move off of a line - such as arrowing off the line, or hitting Enter; that's the point at which the line can be consid...

4.1 behaviors and memory leak
Just so you know I'm not faking it: Loaded PrimalScript 4.1, opened about a dozen files (VBS and PS1), minimized the app. Here's my Task Manager... roughly 3MB memory usage :). Which is more or less what you're saying you observe, too - when I first opened, it was at about 14MB or so, I guess. Note...

Extend Copy-Paste function
An "export to HTML" option is definitely on our internal wish list; it's also useful for pasting code into forums which, given how much code goes into ScriptingAnswers.com's forums, I'd be a big fan of . Thanks!

4.1 behaviors and memory leak
FWIW, I've been running PS 4.1 for three days nonstop. I've seen memory utilization climb as I use it, but never more than 300MB (and that was with a goodly numbe rof large files open). Minimizing the app always brought memory down to 3MB, suggesting that in my situation, at least, there's no leak, ...

A higher-quality (but very large file size) version is available for download at www.sapienpress.com/primalscript4.asp. We're also looking at alternative compression modules to provide a higher-quality with a smaller file size and will post any newer version at this same location.

4.1 behaviors and memory leak
Hi Alex The network activity is noticed because the Windows Firewall states that PrimalScript.exe is attempting to access the network. PrimalScript occassionally attempts to check our Web server and see if a newer version is available. It's likely that this is the activity you're seeing; Enterprise...

Extend Copy-Paste function
Unfortunately, that's a bit difficult to do. PrimalScript deals in plain text, which doesn't include any markup capability for maintaining coloring and other formatting; we'd have to place the text onto the Clipboard in HTML, RTF, or some other "rich" format. Doing so universally would &qu...

Highlight current line
The feature is still on our "wish list." However, the feature list for 4.1 was determined quite some time ago, and this is a comparatively new request. We appreciate your patience.
