bracket highlighting faults with long scripts

Post by akrofly »

Product, version and build: PrimalScript 2016
32 or 64 bit version of product: 64 bits
Operating system: windows 10
32 or 64 bit OS: 64 bits

I have noticed this since Primal Script 2015.

If I am writing a PowerShell script that is longer than what my display allows for a single page, when marking the top level bracket it gets highlighted, the closing partner in the set does not get automatically highlighted.

All other brackets do get highlighted as long as they reside on the same page. If the closing bracket is available only if I scroll down then it is not highlighted.

This problem does not exist with PoweShell Studio, only resides with PrimalScript.

Any ideas of how to fix this?

Kind regards
Akrofly

Thank you for reporting this, I've reproduced this on my end and passed it along to the developers. When I have some more information I'll be sure to provide you with an update.
