AD & GPO cmdlet in PrimalSense?

Post by mupdike »

Product, version and build: PrimalScript 2015
32 or 64 bit version of product: x64
Operating system: Win 7
32 or 64 bit OS: x64

I have followed the instructions to get the help for both the AD and GPO modules in the Document Explorer for help. What I'd like to know is if it's possible to get the cmdlets in the auto-complete (I think that's primalsense since it's like intellisense) and also listed in the Object Browser in PrimalScript. Here's a screenshot of the object browser showing there's no Get-AD* cmdlets listed.

Thanks,
Mike

If I understand correctly, you should only have to rebuild your cache for PrimalScript and it will appear in the Object Browser as well as PrimalSense.

To do this, go to File -> Options -> Text Editor -> PrimalSense and click on Clear Cache:

Thanks, I've tried this a few times. I've seen the cache rebuild and the wording for Active directory in the progress bar. But I have not had the AD or GPO cmdlets show up in the object browser. They do color change if I type them out in whole in the script, but auto-complete doesn't work.

Hope that clarifies, and thanks for the suggestion...Any next steps?

Would you happen to have more than one version of those modules installed?

Upgrading from 7.1.63 to the current version (renewed sub this weekend) fixed this. There's now a module section listed in the object browser that wasn't there in 7.1.63.
