.150 update breaks Help

Post by gmichaud »

Did an 'fc /b ...' compare. That file is identical to mine. It must have something to do with the way it's called by PS. If I manually double-click the .chm file it is not always on top. If I let PS open it, it is. Here is a screenshot of a PS menu on top of the help file, which is on top of my document:Also, the Tools --> Customize dialog has a blue '?' help button at the lower left. I assume it should open the help file, or maybe let me then click on a setting for a help tooltip. It doesn't. No error, just not functional. The 'Help' button on the Tools --> Options dialog does work (only with my renamed help file) and it jumps to the correct help topic. I also did a clean install of .150 on a VM to test help. Help does not work, so it's not an upgrade vs. clean install issue.
Thanks,
Gerry

.150 update breaks Help

Apparently that is how HtmlHelp works. PrimalScript uses the official windows API for this, which makes the help file modal to the application.
We removed the "AlwaysOnTop" flag from the CHM, but that has apparently no bearing on that behavior.
