I am using PrimalScript Professional 4.1. I quite frequently use the script packager and I decided to start using my own icons with the package. So it appears to be straight forward tha tyou add the icon file and it should make the icon for the package to be the one that you added, right? I have tried this several ways, first I just pointed it to the icon file, that didn't work, tried even including the icon file as a datafile, that didn't work.
What am I missing? The icon file under General Settings in the Script Packager is to change the icon of your final EXE correct? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Please send your package file and the icon zipped to support@sapien.com.
Most likely it is the icon format, but we'll look into it.

Before I bother you with looking at it what is the particular format that is required for the icons.

Standard windows icon format, but there are so many tools out there
and variations that it is the most common cause.

There seems to be nothing wrong with the icon file.
After I adjusted the pathes for the included vbs and icon and
added .exe to the output file name it worked fine.
(wireless -> wireless.exe)
Please note that you do not need to include the icon as a data file.

Actually you don't have to specify the .exe even.
Can you please let me know what build of PrimalScript you are running?

I am using version 4.1.535 Professional.
Here are the steps I performed:
1. Put output file name
2. Mapped to the icon file
3. Target folder: Temporary folder
4. Checked Delete data files after execute
5. Checked Execute scripts sequentially
6. Added the script file.
7. Click build.
It builds the file but the icon is the standard blue primal script box.

Hmm, I did the same thing.
Check if you maybe have the icon file open in your icon editor.
I can email you the finished exe if you'd like to see it
Can you manually delete the exe before the build to make SURE it gets recreated?

I delete it everytime just to make sure that is does get created. It is crazy. I don't have any of them open in an icon editor either. I don't know what to make of it.
