x.TempPoint.ps1 - Please delete your temporary files on the File Closed Event

Post by Jehoschua » Sat Mar 31, 2018 9:22 am

Good evening

PowerShell Studio keeps its x.TempPoint.ps1 files everywhere, even if the associated Source file was closed a long time ago.

Please delete your temporary files as soon as you no longer need them. The "On File Closed" Event would probably be a useful place to delete x.TempPoint.ps1 files.

Thanks a lot!
Kind regards,
Thomas

They normally are deleted. A quick test here shows that these files do not remain. New posts get a header asking for version information, which helps us determine where to to look for any problem you may encounter. It seems you deleted that header rather than provide the information. In order to help you better, please provide the information requested. Here is the header again for your convenience.

To help you better we need some information from you.

If you don't want to use the Restore Point feature:

https://www.sapien.com/blog/2014/03/17/ ... re-points/

You can disable it by unchecking the following option:

Options->Backup->Create a restore point as soon as a file is modified
Options - Restore Points.png
Options - Restore Points.png (22.69 KiB) Viewed 1052 times
Note: The TempPoint files are only deleted when the application is closed.
