How to remove the often annoying PowerShell Studio File-Extension association?

Good evening
Most IDEs allows to configure if the IDE should register File-Extensions to itself and it looks like Sapien PowerShell Studio forces the association of most or all PowerShell Extensions.
This is really very annoying if Sapien PowerShell Studio has just the role of rarely used tool for the job (we use it every some month for some days).
In this case, one expects PowerShell to behave normally as on every other computer - and not to start Sapien PowerShell Studio all the time. It is much easier to manually start PowerShell Studio and just open a file.
Therefore our question:
is it possible to finally stop PowerShell Studio from registering File-Extensions?
We think about uninstalling the IDE just to be able to work as usual - but then, it's annoying to reinstall it if one needs it for some small tasks. Another solution would be to replace Sapien, but you are doing a great job, therefore we like and prefer the Idea to support you. But it should not bite us
Product, version and build: 64 bit, the latest Version of PowerShell Studio
Operating system: Windows 10, 64bit Enterprise
