Greetings PowerShell Studio team,
I've noticed that splatted variables do not get references correctly. To explain what I mean and to reproduce, please refer to the below example code:
- $GetProcessParams = @{
- Name = 'explorer';
- ErrorAction = 'SilentlyContinue';
- }
- Get-Process @GetProcessParams
On the other hand if the @GetProcessParams is double-clicked ("Find All References"), despite the @GetProcessParams being highlighted, it only shows (returns) the $GetProcessParams.
This is also the case when Renaming the variable... only the proper(?) variables with the $ sign are renamed and the splatted variables with the @ signs are not.
Obviously, it's nothing major... I recently decided to rename the variable and noticed it only rename the 'proper' variable.
Thanks in advance once again!
Regards,
Paul
