Script Signing - Unknown algorithm

Post by ruvag-AS »

Product, version and build: 5.6.163
Version of product: 64 bit
Operating system: Windows 10 1809
OS: 64bit

Hello there, I have a question about signing scripts with Powershell Studio.
Actually I'm always getting the message: Unkown algorithm used

My Certificate has the following properties:
Signaturalgorithm: sha256RSA
Signaturhashalgorithm: sha256
Public Key: RSA 4096 bit

Why am I not able to sign scripts with powershell studio?
In normal Powershell with Set-AuthenticodeSignature it's working perfectly.

And also, how am I able to sign .psm1 files with powershell studio?

Greetings,
Phil
