New Build Tool/Wizard Replaces saved Install Folder with Invalid Value

Post by KFlaer »

To help you better we need some information from you.

*** Please fill in the fields below. If you leave fields empty or specify 'latest' rather than the actual version your answer will be delayed as we will be forced to ask you for this information. ***

Product, version and build: PowerShell Studio 2019, Version 5.6.168
32 or 64 bit version of product: 64-bit
Operating system: Windows 10
32 or 64 bit OS: 64-bit
Product: PowerShell Studio 2019 (64 Bit)
Build: v5.6.168
OS: Windows 10 Enterprise (64 Bit)
Build: v10.0.16299.0

*** Please add details and screenshots as needed below. ***

After upgrading from build .167 to .168, the new Build Wizard replaces the user-defined value for Install Folder with the value "(Packaged Executable)" [without quotes]. Even if this value is updated and a package successfully built, once the wizard is closed, the next time it is opened it reverts back to this value. When building the install package, the wizard reports that this field contains invalid characters.

Did not have this issue with previous build(s), before the new wizard.

Can you please attach one of the damaged / invalid .psbuild files here?
