Restoring a previous version of a file after a Save

Post by rgaines »

To help you better we need some information from you.

*** Please fill in the fields below. If you leave fields empty or specify 'latest' rather than the actual version your answer will be delayed as we will be forced to ask you for this information. ***

Product, version and build: PowerShell Studio 5.7.172
32 or 64 bit version of product: 64-bit
Operating system: Windows 7 Professional
32 or 64 bit OS: 64bit

*** Please add details and screenshots as needed below. ***

I saved a ps1 accidentally but have not closed the application, undo doesn't seem to restore what was previously there.
How do I restore the previous version of the file? All my code is gone

I'm sorry, but there is no way to retrieve the previous version of the file from the application after you save. I would recommend using version control in the future to prevent this from happening again.

You should be able to simply click "rewind" on the document tab's context menu.
I do find it peculiar that Undo did not work.

As for version control, I would direct you to read this first: http://info.sapien.com/index.php/versio ... st-of-us-2
