Securing a file - Adding a Hash Value

Post by DaveMcDonald »

To help you better we need some information from you.

*** Please fill in the fields below. If you leave fields empty or specify 'latest' rather than the actual version your answer will be delayed as we will be forced to ask you for this information. ***

Product, version and build: Powershell Studio 2020 5.7.180
Operating system: Windows 10
PowerShell version: 5.1
32 or 64 bit OS:64

*** Please add details and screenshots as needed below. ***

Recently we have had McAfee ATP configured. It is blocking a powershell aop (.exe) that I created. My security folks are saying I need to either secure the file with a certificate or with a file hash. I tried certificate and it does not recognize my PKI. I don't know how to do a hash. Please advise.
