Can't sign executable

Post by Smartineau » Tue Aug 21, 2012 4:18 am

I'm running into an exception occurred error when trying to sign a exe after packaging. The cert was purchased from Godaddy which the instructions given was to convert the .Pem file to a .P12 with password. Then rename the .P12 to .PFX because the certificate process in Powershell Stupio 2012 only wants a .pfx. However this doesn't seem to be working. Any thoughts?

Are you able to sign your ps1 scripts using the same pfx file? David

We are looking into it. In the meantime, have you tried adding the pfx to your certificate store? If you don't specify a pfx in the packager settings it will use first one found in the certificate store. David
