Keeping a form 'clickable' while running...

Post by StupidSexyFlanders » Fri Nov 09, 2012 10:01 am

My form launches a series of processes that can take a while, depending of the options the user chooses. As various results are determined, a text box is updated in real-time. However, nothing in the form is accessible while until the processes are complete. The users can't use the scrollbar to see more results beyond the first few lines.

How can one create a form element (specifically a text box) that's still 'clickable' while the process updating it is still running? If that's not possible, at the very least I'd like to be able to have the text box snap the bottom after every update.

I recommend reading the Creating a Responsive Forms blog article:

It should help answer your question.
