Trying to setup a code signing cert but I get
>> Error Signing File: D:...
>> ASN1 bad tag value met
It sounds like it might have something to do with ANSI encoding according to a Microsoft site.
I used makecert to build a quick ca and a signing cert. That all seems ok. It appears to show up ok in the mmc > certificates snap-in... under Trusted Root and Personal Certificates. Personal Certificate Issued to: and Issued by: is what I would expect. It has a Valid From date range. Certificate Status shows as ok.
I'm not trying to do anything fancy... just sign it and run it for myself.
I am using PowerShell Studio 2012 v3.0.8

Can you verify by signing from within the powershell console that the certificate works there?
