v4.1.47 - Fatal: Cannot create executable file

Post by dhedges »

After updating from v4.1.46 to v4.1.47 I am no longer able to build an executable package. I get the following output:

Fatal: Cannot create executable file
Attempt to copy:
C:\Program Files\SAPIEN Technologies, Inc\PowerShell Studio 2014\ScriptEngines\SAPIEN PowerShell V2 Host (Command line) x64.exe
to:
ConfigureTPM.exe.intermediate

Access is denied.

I can reproduce this with all available platforms in the Packager Settings.

Please answer the following questions:

1. What OS are you using?
2. Location of the script?
3. Can you create an executable for different files? Or is this limited to this single file?

Note: The Packager needs write access to the folder of the original script.

Please check if the ConfigureTPM.exe.intermediate file still exists. If so, you will have to delete.

Windows 8 Enterprise x64
Script is located in my local SkyDrive folder under my user profile.
PowerShell Studio is executing under my user context.

I did just attempt to create an executable for a single script file and it worked.

I also searched my system and the ConfigureTPM.exe.intermediate file was not present.

After attempting the single file, I re-opened my existing project and it is now working again as before.
