Just installed SPS14Setup_4.1.62_062514_x64.exe on Windows 8.1. When launch PS, get error message "Unable to determine license status. Pleasze contact Sapien Technical Support". Uninstalled V 4.1.62 and re-installed 4.4.61 and works OK. Re-registered PowerShell Studio 2012 to PowerShell Studio 2014 Subscription Number with Sapien - registered OK. Uninstalled 4.1.61 and re-installed 4.1.62, but still get same error message. Please help as I need to use PS on some important project development work. I will go back to using 4.1.61 until resolution is provided. Thanks.

Please try the following:

In build 61, go to the About box (the "i" icon on the top right of the ribbon) and deactivate the software and then install 62.

When the trial box appears, please enter your subscription information and unlock normally.

Let us know if this resolves the issue.

Thank you for your reply. Tried your recommendations, IE removed license which returned license status to Trial version. Then I installed 4.1.62. Still the same problem. Get same error dialog box and when click OK Powershell Studio closes. I do not get any opportunity to put in my subscription number so that I can unlock the product for use.

Further Update: removed version 4.1.62, Installed 4.1.61. Fired up Powershell Studio 4.1.61. Got dialog to input Sapien Id, password and subscription number. Provided derails, clicked unlock and product was unlocked and I can now use 4.1.61. However I still can not use 4.1.62 as i do not get the opportunity to input the subscription details.

I do not see the reply. Can you resend the email to support@sapien.com?

Also please use a zip instead of a rar.

Thank you,

David

Hi Alex,

I checked our Mail Marshall and the email was being held because of the contents of the zip file having registry info. I have released the e-mail so you should have received it. Please let me know if this is not the case.
