Constructing PowerShell Cache aborted

Post by scott.norton »

I am experiencing an issue debugging a module after upgrading to PowerShell Studio 2014 4.1.64.

The debug fails with a message from CacheBuilder indicating the PowerShell control could not be instantiated.

Executing CacheBuilder from the command line exhibits a similar issue.

Environment:
PowerShell Studio 2014 4.1.64 x64
Windows 7 x64
PowerShell v4 x64

Note, CacheBuilder from PrimalStudio 7.0.45 does not exhibit the issue.

To resolve my issue temporarily, I moved back to PowerShell Studio 2014 v.4.1.63 x64.

It seems the wrong version of the a dll was shipped with the latest build. We will release a new build very soon.

Yes, 4.1.65 corrected my module build issue.
