PS2012 - Form component location not saving

Post by cothomas »

I am having an odd issue. In my form, there are two components that will not save their location in the form. One is a picturebox. The other is a groupbox. I can move the components to the correct location and export the project. The exported script shows the components in the correct location. But if I save the project, close it, and reopen it, the components are back in the wrong location.

There is nothing in my code that modifies their location. How is PS2012 saving the component location?

Version: PowerShell Studio 2012 v3.1.35
64-bit version on 64-bit Windows 8.1

Thank you for posting, cothomas.

Did you remember to include the following?
  • 1. Product, version and build (e.g. Product: PowerShell Studio 2014, Version & Build: 4.1.71. Version and build information can be found in the product's About box accessed by clicking the blue icon with the 'i' in the upper right hand corner of the ribbon.)
    2. Specify if you are running a 32 or 64 bit version
    3. Specify your operating system and if it is 32 or 64 bit.
    4. Attach a screenshot if your issue can be seen on the screen
    5. Attach a zip file if you have multiple files (crash reports, log entries, etc.) related to your issue.
If not, please take a moment to edit your original post or reply to this one.

PowerShell Studio 2012 is at end of life, but if you zip and email the project to support@sapien.com, we can take a look at it.

Include a screenshot of before and after so we can compare.

If you haven't already, I encourage you to test the project in PowerShell Studio 2015 to see if the issue still persists. I recommend making a copy of the project beforehand so you don't have to restore the backups.
