Packaging Error

Post by virusexpert »

I have created a form and am trying to use alternative credentials. The package generates the following errors:

LogonUser call failed with error code: 1326

Impersonation failed, aborting process.

All forms generate this error, even with no code.

I am running v1.1.9

Error code 1326 means: Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.

I suggest to check the username and password specified. Usernames in a domain environment should be specified as user@domain

If I use user@domain it seems to work on Windows XP, but on 64-bit Windows 7 I get the following message: (Packaged as 32bit or 64bit)

Works here, I will check into it.
I am assuming packages without alternate credentials work fine on your machine?

That is correct. Does it make a difference if I am a domain admin?

It shouldn't. Most likely it is an undocumented (or under-documented) API change. I will look into it.

I am still not able to get this working. I have tried running with a non-domain admin account and get the same error.

Can you zip and email a packaged exe to support@sapien.com?

I can, but the userID I have used will not exist on your network.

I can create this error with a blank form (no code) and select Package Security: Specify alternate credentials if you want your packaged scripts to run as a different user:

I enter a valid userID in the form of Name@domain and the correct password.

If I enter the wrong data, I receive an error stating the name or pw is incorrect.

I have tried both 32 and 64bit, both generate the same errors.
