Hello Support-Team,

in ChangeVue 2012 we get a error Message after the use of "Move Files".

Error: Unable to move [Kubus-Repository]\Server\Allgemein\CMD\xxx.cmd
Reason: The Move File failed, possibly due to a locked resources
Result: The file has not been moved and remains in its original location

The program ChangeVue 2012 is installed on MS windows server 2008 R2 Enterprise – 64 Bit
Version: 2.1.59
Security mode: Standard
Logged in as: Domain-User with admin-rights on the server and change-rights on the file-share

Description: Repository was created with „Create Repository“, Projecte was created with „Create Empty Project“.
The repository is connected with a UNC-Path (maped network share) / same error message with a local destination)
Projects ist also connected with a UNC-Path (maped network share) / same error message with a local destination)

The files are at the use of „Move Files“ all „checked in“ and in the same repository.

Please let us know how to resolve this problem so that we can use ChangeVue 2012 in our team.

Many thanks for your help.

From your description it is not clear if this affects one file or multiple files.

I am not sure what your setup is, but typically you would install ChangeVue on a workstation and connect to a repository on a server. Can you provide more information about your setup and from where to where you are trying to move files?

We also tried it on two differnt laptops with the same problem.
Now the program is on a server (not workstation) installed.
The repository is using a UNC path on a server.
The errors occur when we use "Move Files" with one as well as with multiple files.
The files are moved from project to project (in the same repository).
