Make search feature always visible

Post by peter_mclean@dodo.com.au »

Once you have scrolled down the cmdlets, aliases and abouthelp lists the search feature becomes unavailable, ie scrolls out of view. Is it possible to make the search feature always visible in a separate locked bar at the top of the panel so that it can be accessed anytime when wanting to jump to another search topic. Maybe a bookmarks feature to hold searches of interest may also be helpful. This is not a criticism in anyway, but merely a suggestion to help improve the usability of the product which I current use very often and get a great deal of value from.

I appreciate the input. As a matter of fact, we have done just that for the next major release.

Currently, the only way is to tap the magnifying glass icon in the right hand index or to double tap the status bar. Of course, this will scroll you to the top of the list which is unfortunately not what you want.
