Considering a code signing certificate for my application

Post by jsira2003@yahoo.com »

I am considering purchasing a code signing certificate for apps I plan to sell. What will work with powershell studio? What type of certificate do you suggest? What is an acceptable reasonably priced solution. I was considering a comodo code signing certificate. What are your thoughts on this matter?

Thanks
John

Any code signing certificate you can add to your Windows Certificate Store will do from our end.

I am also considering a godaddy ev cert for code signing. I believe those are $199.99 a year. Please give me your thoughts as well.

Thanks,
John

We can really not make any recommendation for one certificate vendor versus another. The certificate store, code and file signing as well as signature verification and certificate authentication are Windows functions. We merely provide the convenience of applying signatures where configured automatically. We do not test with any other signature than our own. So the choice is yours really.
