Connect to server via WS-Man (And not RPC)

Just purchased CIM Explorer to work with a remote ESXi Server via it's CIM server. It seems like the default connection method when you attempt to connect to a remote computer is to use DCOM/RPC. This is fine for Windows based systems, but the standard for CIM remote sessions is to use the more user friendly WS-Man protocol. WS-Management is a DMTF open standard for the management of servers, devices, applications, and Web services.

How do I configure CIM Explorer to utilize WS-Man when connecting to a remote system and NOT RPC?

Product: CIM Explorer (64 Bit)
Build: v2.3.97
OS: Windows 10 Pro (64 Bit)
Build: v10.0.19044
PowerShell version(s): 5.1
Remote system I am trying to connect to: ESXi Server v7.1

Sorry, WS-Man is not supported at this time.

That is unfortunate. Are there any plans to add support for WS-MAN in the future?

Also, thank you for that lightning fast reply!

There are certain stumbling blocks on supporting that. I am not going into detail on purpose.
It is planned, but I have no idea when that will happen.
