Getting Started

Post by jesus.quinones@halliburton.com »

I'm new to Powershell Studio but not new to PowerShell.

I downloaded an evaluation copy to create a proof of concept to be able to take many of my scripts and turn them into executable so that I can hand them to the HelpDesk. Management requirement was that they don't want helpdesk to be able to view the codes or powershell Scripts.

My question is, Porwershell studio seems very comulsome. Is there an easy tutorial to convert an interactive powershell script into an executable?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you for trying our PowerShell Studio. In regards, to packaging your scripts, these articles should provide some assistance:

https://info.sapien.com/index.php/packa ... imalscript:
https://www.sapien.com/blog/2017/06/14/ ... owershell/
https://www.sapien.com/blog/2017/07/10/ ... owershell/

Some articles refer to PrimalScript, but they still apply to PowerShell Studio.

If these articles don't answer your questions, please feel free to ask here and we will be happy to help.

We also have a YouTube channel with various videos on the products and PowerShell training:

I will put in a request for videos on how to use the packager. Our Information Center also contains many articles on the products:
