Primal Script Not Responding

Post by fdijohn »

I have recently purchased the enterprise version of your product but I didn't receive confirmation from my purchasing department so I am posting this problem here being I am still using the evaluation product. I have a script that starts off by creating two object which are ActiveX DLLs. Whenever Primal Script encounters one of the DLLs, and it's always the same DLL, it just hangs and eventually reports that it is not rsponding. I have recomiled this DLL thinking that may be the problem but it didn't help. To make matters worse, I have two other script editors: ASE and VBSEdit and both of these products have no probalems at all with the exact same script. I'm not sure where to go next other than to hope you can help. I was going to attach the DLL file but didn't see an option to do that. Hopefully you can help me to get past this problem.

Primal Script Not Responding

Please send the dll (zipped) to support@sapien.com.
Please include sample code that you use and that makes it hang.

Does PrimalScript hang when attempting to provide PrimalSense or are you refering to the debugger? Most likely there is a circular reference in the object model that is not properly detected.
