I'm sorry, I'm not clear on what you're suggesting. Could you provide more detail, and perhaps a usage scenario?

for example I have business objects installed on a remote server, I want to be able to create a script using the dll's the program has so I can for example automate a report, but currently I would need to install business objects onto my own machine to be able to use the type library browser to view what I can use, and this would involve licences issue where as all I want is to know whats available.

PrimalSense cannot use any type library information that is not registered on the local machine. You can go to Tools - Options - Text Editor - Type libraries and associate any progid with a specific TLB file (or dll containing a TLB), even if they are on a remote drive. (Restarting PS may be required)
However, please be advised that typelibs can be quite large and complex and specifying a remote one can cause a substantial increase in startup times or appear as freezing when an associated object is used the first time.
I would ask the vendor if it is OK to just move the typelibrary to your local machine for that purpose.
