It would be great if you could add PrimalSense support for the WMI StdRegProv Class. It's always a shock when I create one of these objects and I've got to go to MSDN to get the methods and properties

Good point...
VBscript is my language of choice at the moment, but I'd also like Powershell support.
Thanks for the quick reply!

This seems like a reasonable request. I know I could use it as I've been doing some registry scripting for a Techmentor session I'm doing in Vegas this November on managing the registry with PowerShell, so you're suggestion is timely from my perspective.

Just to make sure expectations are correct, WMI classes are dynamic classes, you cannot get member information without actually creating an object.
Which we cannot do, because we would need to make the actual call coded to get the correct object and that is
a) potentially time consuming
b) a large security risk
We are looking into other solutions of course, but this is not a quick fix.

I thought there might be a reason along those lines, but I was just hoping that it might be possible to have some sort of type library for well-known & common methods.
Thanks for looking anyway.

I think Alex has some ideas but they take time to work out and add to the product.
