PScript Pro - Nexus vertical scrolls automatically

Post by russ@herballure.com »

I'm considering purchasing and currently working with a trail of PrimalScript Pro.

I find that the class-browser window often automatically vertical-scrolls to the left so that items that are further left than the one that is currently highlighted gets scrolled party or completely out of view. Is there a way to prevent this?

Thanks.

I think what you are referring to is an automatic windows mechanism.
Not quite sure what "vertical scroll to the left" means. You mean horizontal scroll?

Yes, sorry, actuallly horizontal scroll. What happens is this...

I like using the class browser to quickly navigate between functions. The problem is that the class browser will scroll to the left removing from the names of the files that I'm working with making the browser hard to use. This happens about every 30 to 60 seconds.

Here is a screenshot to demonstrate. (Actually, the insert image function of this forum did not allow me to insert an image so here are links to the screenshots):

I really like the software and would love to see a solution for this.

Many thanks.

Great! Thrilled to hear it.

It's a great development tool for any level of developer, especially of they use more-than-one language often.

I am glad to hear you like it. From your screenshots you seems to have 4.0.
Please make sure you actually get 4.1 for evaluation.

I just downloaded the 4.1 trial and it is still doing the same thing. Just thought I'd let you know. If you happen to try fixing it again, I'd love to know so I can give it another go.
I'm using Win 2000 SP4 on an ASUS A8V Deluxe MB with an AMD 3200+ processor and 1 Gig RAM.
Thanks.

I didn't say it was fixed in 4.1
I said the "fix is included in the next service release of 4.1" :-)
