Product, version and build: PrimalScript 2016 7.2.92
32 or 64 bit version of product: 64
Operating system: Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise, running Citrix Xenapp 6.5 Rollup 5
32 or 64 bit OS: 64
PrimalScript 2016 can NOT debug when running in a Citrix session or connecting using MSTSC.exe from Microsoft.
When starting the Debugger in PS 2016 I get the following error message:
PS 2016 is then "stuck" in the Debug Mode, even after I terminate PS 2016 and restart it, it comes back up in the debug mode.
This does NOT change even when logging off and back on again!
When I log off the first time after starting the Debug Mode I get the following error message:
This is the same when I connect to the same machine using the MSTSC.exe client.
What can I do to get PS 2016 out of the stuck Debug Mode?
When can you fix this?
CanNOT Debug in Citrix Session or Terminal Server session

Re: CanNOT Debug in Citrix Session or Terminal Server session
The first error happens because you have a firewall that prevents local port connections. You need to consult with your Citrix folks on how to fix that.
As for the second error, PrimalScript has no mechanism to maintain a debug mode across sessions. So I cannot really tell you how to undo that, since this cannot really happen across sessions. My suspicion is that you terminal server maintains sessions across logins.
The V2 driver crash is caused by either your locked down local ports or by the absence of a V2 engine. I cannot tell from the information what it is.
I would suggest that you get everything you need working on a 2008 R2 physical box and then see that you apply the same config to your Citrix environment.
We do not have a Citrix environment I could test in, so I don't know a lot about that.

I'm trying to setup a Citrix environment to help figure out the reason behind this.
Before I continue I would like to verify if you're using Citrix XenServer or another Citrix product that I'm unaware of.

Re: CanNOT Debug in Citrix Session or Terminal Server session
Hi DevinL,
As far as I know it is the XenServer.
Here again is the Infos that I got from our OS People:
running Citrix Xenapp 6.5 Rollup 5
This info was also included at the top of this Topic right after the OS info.
If there is anything else you Need from us let me know.

My apologies, I seem to have missed that part.
In that case I'll see what I can do to reproduce this on our end, thanks.
