Script engine selection

Post by AndySunny »

Product, version and build: Powershell Studio 2022, 5.8.202
Operating system: Win 10 Pro
PowerShell version(s):

Hi all,

I am trying to "compile" my application. However, when I go into settings for the packager, only Windows Powershell v5 and v7x are available. Where is the option to package it for V3 gone? This is a crucial part for me, since the script needs to be able to run on any system that has at least Powershell 3

All V2 and V3 scripting engines were removed with the 2022 release. The last service build to include them was 5.8.196. We had already removed most support for V2 and V3 before that.

Thank you, brittney. That means I will have to uninstall this build and re-install the old version then
