Quick, responsive UI with all screens fit?

Post by stevens »

Hi,

I'd like to make a quick an responsive ps gui which fits all screens (ultra wide to laptop sizes).
Any tips for that? F.e. 800 * 600 size, probably not to much to load at startup... But also when generating exe some specific settings etc?

Generally the size of the screen is less of an issue than the magnification factor.
Leave room around the controls. Make labels larger than the text is on your screen so that the font size changes will not cut stuff off.
If it is a resizable from, anchor controls properly.
Test with a large variety of magnification factors.
Not sure what this has to do with executable packaging. That should not affect the design of your form.
