File search feature

Post by ROBERT_COOPER »

Product, version and build: Powershell Studio 5.8.213
Operating system: Windows 10 Build 19044.2604
PowerShell version(s): 5.1.19041.2364

When using the built in search multiple files feature of Powershell Studio (CTRL-SHIFT-F), the feature works, however shortly afterward, Powershell Studio freezes and the only way to fix is to Task Manager and kill the process. Any idea what is causing this?

Please try updating to the latest build and let me know if you are still experiencing this behavior.

Were you experiencing this prior to build 5.8.213?

Yes we have experienced this prior to our current version. Our software is admin controlled, so i will need to have them install the update and try again.
