Hi, my name is klawrawkz. I am fine. How are you?
I have got to admit that I am frustrated with your product in almost every way. This is quite an accomplishment.
I realize that this forum is not necessarily "your product," but, why not use markdown? Markdown is apparently the most popular forum flavor du jour. Non?
Back to the "product." Frustrated, thwarted, and foiled again by golly - actually every time. For example, even a simple sounding procedure such as filling out this form is way more challenging than it should be. See below. Who knows what the details of your product are? I could not find "product," "version," or "build" anywhere in the UI. Typically a vendor will list this prominently under the good olde "Help" menu item. My (unknown) version of SAPIEN Power Shell Studio 2023 (Administrator) does not contain such info in any of the "Help" menu items. Hmmm. Now here you are asking for information that should be easy to find, and to my chagrin, I cannot find the info you ask for. Even this simple task is a fail. Wow.
OK, moving on...
*** Please fill in the fields below. If you leave fields empty or specify 'latest' rather than the actual version your answer will be delayed as we will be forced to ask you for this information. ***
Product, version and build: The "documentation" is not well-documented enough for me to figure out this information. I have a "registered" version of PowerShell Studio 2023. I suppose I could take a guess regarding the version and build. Honestly I don't have time to figure out even this small part of the Sapien Rubik's Cube. Oh look!! The version # is found on the "Activation Information" screen. I find this to be an unusual location for this type of data. If I intend to submit an issue to you folks because I am unsurprisingly confused by your application, why in God's name would I browse to "activation information?" NEWMAN!!
Then there is a "copy product information" menu item that is obscure as all get out, and when I click it nothing seems to happen. Eureka! Rather than produce a visual to help me out, behind the scenes it does what it says it will and "copies" some product information. Intriguing.

32-bit version of software? What? Am I using a 32 bit version? Can I use a 32 bit version? Would I like to try a 32 bit version? How to answer this question? Help me answer question? No, not 32 bit version of software. Yes and No 32-bit version of software. Wait, what "software" are we talking about? Powershell: yes and no depending on Core vs. legacy build. Sapien "powershell studio?" I dunno, I suppose it is a matter of what happens when I click a run button. Windows OS software? Sort of, but, no, not really.

*** --- nope, can't use this thingy here.
WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO POST THE ISSUE, OR THE CRUX OF THE BISCUT? How about below. OK. will do.
Out of the box, I mean, when I open the Sapien UI, select new module project | OK, and wait for project to be created something happens. Is it a good thing? No, I can't vouch for that. Anyway, I don't do anything but click "OK," as in, please go ahead and create a new project. Out of the box, the project does not work at all. Click "Debug" and blammo! "Errors will be happening" as they say. Indeed, errors did happen. Yup. Errors. This is a pretty horrible out of the box experience. 1) Create new module project; 2) Wizard does whatever it does; 3) Click "Debug," or "Build," then "Debug," and ERRRRROR Will Robinson. Yup. That's lame.
Code: Select all
>> Build Error: Could not find file '<Insert-Your-Favorite-File-Path-Here>\mysillyProjectName'.
Can you figure out what's up with the forum not allowing me to post, move this thing to the right location, and then help me figure out what the deal with the lousy out of the box experience is all about please?
Thanks for the help.
Hope you are doing well.
