Allow closing of inactive tabs by showing "x" on tab mouseover
Jay Adams, Aug. 20, 2018Released:
7.4.117
Currently a user must select an inactive tab first, then move the mouse to the newly visible "x" to close it. Other code editors either show the "x" on each tab or show it once the mouse travels over the tab. This desired behavior can save many clicks over the course of a day.
If tab real estate is a concern, the "x" could only appear on the right side of the tab once the mouseover event occurs, covering up the last bit of the filename without shifting anything to avoid disorientation.

It will be in the next service build. See new options below.
